 History and Introduction of Festival |
 This unique festival for traditional liquor and food of South Korea as well as for special produce, the |
autumnal foliage of Mt. Baegun and cultural events of the locality is held annually in October, the season of tinted leaves, in Baegun Valley Tourist Site located in Dopyeong-ri of Idong-myeon. During the 1st festival of 2005, held under the theme of liquor and galbi (marinated and grilled beef rib) over 30 liquor companies participated, such as 22 traditional liquor companies from all over the country and 8 Maggeolli companies from Pocheon-si, showcasing approximately 200 varieties of high-quality liquor. Over 100,000 visitors came to the festival to end the event in great success. |

1) Gangwon Express (to Sachang-ri): East Seoul -> Ildong -> Idong -> Baegun-dong
(Mt. Baegun) -> Gwangdeok Hills (Gungmangbong)
2) Gangwon Express (to Sinsu-ri, Wasu-ri): East Seoul -> Ildong -> Idong -> by taxi (10 ~ 15 minutes)
3) Seonjin Express: Suyuri -> Euijeongbu -> Pocheon -> Ildong -> Idong -> by taxi (10 ~ 15 minutes)
4) Reserved Seat Bus (No. 138-5): Euijeongbu -> Pocheon -> Ildong -> Idong -> by taxi (10 ~ 15 minutes)
